Manage secrets

Create a new secret

To create a new secret click on an empty cell, then select Extensions, then ‘The Secret Manager for Google Sheets™’ and then click on ‘Create a secret’.

In the pop-up, you need to enter a brief description of the secret and the secret itself. You can use the checkboxes to choose whom or which group you want to share your secret with. The comment is optional.

To modify an already encrypted secret, click on its cell and follow the same procedure.

Reveal a secret

To reveal a secret, click on a cell that contains a Muna secret, then select Extensions, then ‘The Secret Manager for Google Sheets™’, and finally click on ‘Reveal a secret’.

If you don’t have access personally, and you are not a member of any group that has access to the secret, contact the owner or a member of the secret. If you have access, you'll need to enter your password, the same one you used when you created your digital ID (keys). If the provided password is correct, you will be able to view the secret.

Tip: If you don’t know, who is the owner of the secret you can use the “MunaGetOwner(secret)” function. To use it, you just need to type=MunaGetOwner(’ and click in the cell where the secret is located.
