FAQ

How can I use the app if the Administrator hasn’t installed it for us, yet?

While the administrator has permission to install an add-on for the entire organization, individual users can still do so for themselves by clicking the 'Individual Install' button on the marketplace listing.

Here's how you can install an app for yourself:

What happens if I forget my digital ID?

Unfortunately, the digital ID cannot be changed, so in that case, you won’t be able to access any of your secrets.

The digital ID can only be changed in the Enterprise version. If you use the Free version, a new digital ID must be generated. Secrets can be shared with other members who already have access to the secrets. We recommend using groups. By adding the new digital ID to the groups, you will regain access to the secrets. You can also create a Google spreadsheet that only you can access. It can be further protected by Muna using a different password (which you will remember) where you store your main Muna password.

To prevent this from happening, you can:

  • Share your secret with groups instead of individual users, allowing you to update the sharing by adding new users to the group.

  • Store your digital ID in another secure location.

    • What constitutes a secure location? It depends on the value of what you are protecting with your Muna Digital ID. If the value is very high, it could be an encrypted USB drive stored in a secure vault. If the secrets are not as valuable, they could be written on a page in one of your books on your bookshelf.

What happens if someone deletes my data from the sheet?

You can check the changes made to the sheet in the version history and revert them back.

How can I share my secret?

If you want to share your secrets, you need to grant access to the sheet to other people with editor rights. To do that, open the Google Drive folder where the spreadsheet you want to share is located, right-click on it, and then click on ‘Share’.
